Majestic Gardens complex, Tersefanou

Hi all,

Anyone anything about these apartments?

Or the area?

Thanks for any info

Recently constructed appartments as many of them now in Tersefanou. The village by itself does not have anything interesting and unfortunately no buses serving the area are available. You will need your own wheels to move around. There is a beach at Pervolia village %26lt;10km away. Tell us more about what you are looking for and will provide more info.

Hi margory, thanks for your reply.

My wife and i,after spending our holidays all over Europe, for twenty plus years, finaly got to Cyprus 6 years ago,and talk about love at first sight.

We have been back every year since.

We have for the last 6 years stayed in the pathos area.

We booked these apartments,as the location is ideal for the area%26#39;s of Cyprus we have not yet visited.

I have hired a car for our visit so transport is no problem.

My only worry was after checking reviews of these apartments was that there were not many reviews, and the complex does not seem to atract many visiters, infact seems as though the week we are going we might be the only ones there.

But as you say its a new development might explain why its not exactly a top destination.

Thanks again

Majestic gardens Has a lot of Long Term Lease%26#39;s just now aas the Area is kind of out the way, as stated transport is a must, but its very close to Kiti %26amp; 15 min drive to larnaca %26amp; the Airport,

Complex%26#39;s are great looking just the maintenace side is a little poor at times, Appartment are Large, usually well furnished Obviously depending on which owner you go thru you%26#39;ll have slight difference%26#39;s

I would recomend a Penthouse for the few extre Pounds its well worth it,

i currently reside in Phase 1, 8 long term rentals there

phase 2 very quiet

Phase 3 only about 7 long term rentals - this has the largest pool area %26amp; tennis court but the court has been padlocked for some time and there%26#39;s no key

Hi Steve

The complex%26#39;s are new, and as they are new will take time to attract new renters, at least you won%26#39;t have to fight for the sun bed....

You will need a car to get around. There are some little villages a short drive away where you can eat local dishes and emjoy a beer or two!!!

Larnaca town is about 15 minutes drive and there are many varied restaurants, clubs, and bars available.

If you need more let me know.

Paul

Just returned home.

we stayed in Phase 1 B2 block

We found the apartments ideal for us.

Yes a little bit out of the way but as we hired a car no problem.

Very quiet on a night, and this was great after spending most of the days in the busy resorts withing easy reach of the complex.

We used the 2 local resturants/tavernas near the main square most nights, great food and great people, who made us feel very welcome.

And on tuesday i noticed that the tennis court was in use,so some one found the key.

Thanks for a great week Tersefanou,we will return

I have stayed in Phase 1 Block B1 and found it clean, well equiped and as you say, peaceful. The area was well maintained and the the pool clean. The locals were very friendly and the village had a lovely %26#39;local%26#39; atmosphere and was not too English as some places tend to become. A golf course is planned for Tersefanou with a spa etc. so I expect the area will become more popular.

I have just been back again and stayed in Phase 2. I noticed that there were more people around compared to last year and another restaurat has opened in the village square, however I prefer the taverna opposite the supermarket (Tersefanou Taverna), as the owner Andreas is extremely friendly and even remembered us from last year, the food is excellent, the service is excellent and locals go there to, so you feel like one of them. I intend to return again next year too, it is a perfect get away from it all holiday, but still very close to the Larnaca and the beach.

Forgot to mention a spa has opened up in Phase 3 of the complex.

Yes, the apartments are brand new but so many are empty, probably one in ten are being used. The roads around most of them are unmade and everywhere tends to get covered in dust from the traffic that drives along them. There is still building going on everywhere and the noise starts up early in the morning so if you like living on a building site this is the place for you. The proposed golf course that has attracted all this new building has yet to be built until a desalination plant to supply water in this near like desert area has been constructed and some reports say this could take six years. Because of this the apartments are being rented at a very cheap rate so if you want a bargain and have a car and a supply of tissues to unpack you nose ( it will tend to fill with giant bogies beacause of all the dust ) go for it. The village itself is full of friendly Cypriots who seem to take the destruction of their village in their stride.
