St George Paphos district

Hi, I am looking at a villa which is listed as in the paphos district st George very near Agios georgios beach. Does anyone know this area. What is it like does it have bars, restaurants etc and what is the beach like (sandy)? How far from paphos centre? Any help is much appreciated!

Hi,]I presume this is close to the St. George Hotel. If it is there are a few bars and restaurants but not as a good a choice as in Coral Bay or alternatively the other side of the harbour or the harbour itself. It depends on what you want but we always stay at the opposite end of the harbour to St. George and much prefer it. The only time we stayed at the St. George we caught the bus daily to the other side. It is personal choice at the end of the day.

Hi, visited St George last week, small beach at small harbour, beach has small cantina and sunbeds etc for hire. No shops etc that I could see but couple of restaurants. Very quite. About 30 mins out of Paphos and 10 mins past Coral Beach. I%26#39;d say you would need a car

Agios Georgios is our favourite beach but there is nothing there but a few sunbeds, fishing boats, cafe, little church and a hotel and restaurant overlooking it. Paphos is about 15 minutes drive and you will definately need a car.
