horse and carridge rides

hi people

im due to get married in protaras on the 27th of this month, ive never been to cyprus before but im hopeing that cyprus is simuler to greece in that you get horse drawn carts up and down the main strips. and are usually about 30 euros or so for a small trip.

does anyone know if cyprus also has them, as it would be nice to try and hire 6 or so to take our party to the reception.

i have come across a website that hires them out for weddings but they are 395 each.

Yes they only do weddings and not like what you see in Italy

there are no horse and carts in protaras or in any of the nearby resorts.

the roads are busy enough with taxi%26#39;s zooing up and down, mopeds and cranky old busses.

I%26#39;ve actually seen a horse and carriage going up through Pernera a few years back that was for a wedding ! Don%26#39;t know where it came from or if its still about though (not seen it since)...
