Hi Rach
I dont know when your wedding is/was but I am getting married in Peyia too - but not til next year. I was there 2 years ago and there was a wedding going on there. It looks lovely. Peyia is a lovely little town outside paphos so much less touristy and spoilt. I loved it.
Let me know how you foiund it!

Don%26#39;t panic, Peyia is a lovely village about 5 mins drive from the coast at Coral Bay. If my memory serves me correctly I think the Town Hall is near the municiple gardens which have a fountain. This would be a nice place to have your photos taken. There are numerous restaurants in the village and it is a really friendly place. I don%26#39; think you will have any problems.

Hi, I%26#39;m planning to get married there next sept. The agency I spoke to said it is a popular location. The ceremony takes place outside and it is a beautiful location for your photos. I can only hope also that this true, all the picture I have seen of in the brochure make it look lovely and romantic. All the best please post to let us now how you got on. xxx

Dear all,
I was married here 3 weeks ago and it was nothing short of fantastic! I used Freetimetours in Paphos to help with the planning and so on, but we only wanted a simple ceremony and reception so there wasnt too much stress involved at all.
The venue is fab. You couldnt get anything like this in the UK without paying through the nose and even then you couldnt guarantee the weather.
We had about 20 guests and used the village bus to collect the wedding party for the ceremony and transport them into Kathikas where we had our reception at a lovely taverna.
If you want to see photos or if you want to ask me any questions Im happy to help!!
Regards

To Bellasmum, the taverna you had your reception, how many people do you think it could hold? My son is getting married at St Pauls Pillars in paphos in may 2008 and there are going to be about 150 guests! What were the prices like? Have you any photos you could email me? My email is alison.f.martin@hotmail.com. How much did Freetime tours cost to plan the wedding as it sounds as though it was less of a headache using them and Ive already got one and it not for 2 years yet! Thanks.
|||
Hi Alison
The Taverna was lovely, but I doubt that it could hold £150 guests! We paid about £10 per person which was an absolute bargain for the food we ate (and in fact most of it was left because there was so much of it!!!) not just in quantity but quality too.
I highly recommend Cypus in general for a wedding.
I will add a link to my photos for anyone interested

Hi i have just been reading about your wedding in Cyprus my daughter would like to get married there but the tour operaters are asking far too much beings she already has a family holiday booked there, It is only for a small group of us would you know how to go about organising this our selfs eg, how do we get the licence and where from and what is involved in getting married, thanks J.Thomas
|||
Hi, I was just wondering what the name of the Taverna was, and if they have a website?
Thanks!
Victoria

Hi there
to the lady with the head ache, 150 is a lot of guests for an overseas wedding there is a taverna in the st george area just after coral bay aprox 10 mins drive from peyia wedding site, which would easily hold your numbers, it was newly built last year has a front made of all glass over looking see views.
I recently took a wedding couple there to have a look at who have around 50-70 guest for next may ( they came over for a look around) im sure Kat would be happy to speak with you if i ask her first if i can give you her email adress i know she also took lots of photos of all the venues we looked at that day and she is sending me a copy so maybe she would be kind enough to email you some
Please send me your email if you think i can help further
Kind regards Cyprus Eve

Hi Everyone
Yes Peyia Town Hall is a lovely setting, out of three town hall%26#39;s in paphos peyia is got to be the best, you will arrive at the top %26amp; walk under a small tunnel %26amp; walk along an arce shaped path down to a set of steps to the gazebo beautifull setting for any wedding day.
Along with CyprusEve there are other small wedding planners I recommend for B2B over here
