when you go to famagusta on the red bus and you arrive at the border control do you have your passport stamped when you go over?

hiya,
No, you have to take your [assport with you as they may want to inspect it but they definately do not stamp it - did the trip 2 weeks ago.
you%26#39;ll have a great day!

thanks for that advise, can you tell me how long the tour takes to famagusta and what do you do there?

I think the red bus only goes over the boarder on a thursday and that gets full very quickly. we tried booking on the monday for thursday and there were no spaces. Wish we had known about it in advance.

We did the bus trip but did not go to famagusta, but the trip we did was fab would highly reccomend it.

Liverpoolace - did you do the normal trip around the old red soil villages, the green line, towards Famagusta etc ? - it is a fantastic trip that lets you know more about the real Cyprus, well worth the money...

Spoke with the owners of the Red Bus before I left Pernera yesterday. They have taken delivery of two more buses and plan to do different village trips next year and more daily trips to Famagusta. Should be good.
