hello varosha it all depends what size car u need and u can only rent one for at least 3 days so if u only want a car for the odd day out i would use the bus its only 1.50 euro each and they r every 10 minutes ,the petrol has also gone up so u might end up spending more than what u want! i have just returned from protaras last thursday and there r alot of car hire firms that r trying to get people to rent cars so they were lowering the prices so you might get a good deal have a good holiday

Thank you. The smallest car would do - only 2 of us. Very interesting that the car hire firms have lowered their prices. We want to see a lot of the island, so a car is a must. Hope you had a lovely holiday.

have a good look around before u hire a car the prices changed quite abit and some were offering deals because protaras like most places wasnt as busy as usual so they are fighting for business and yes i had a good time the weather was hot hot hot!!!! so take lots of suncream u will need it!!!!.Many of the bars and restaurants were also doing little deals 2 for 1 etc some lowered prices of drinks in the 2 weeks i was there so u might be lucky they might have gone down even more!!!!!

We are hiring a car from www.EconomyCarRentals.com. Pick up from Larnaca and drop off back at the airport. Used them in May and very pleased with them. Book the smallest car, you generally get an upgrade. B1 class economy with air conditioning Toyota Yaris, Suzuki Alto or similar 260 euros for 2 weeks. Have used a number of car hire companies in and around Pernera but this company works out cheaper.

No, we didn%26#39;t pay any further insurance - didn%26#39;t need to as it was all covered by Easy Car Rentals. 243 euros for two weeks - Ford Fiesta with 10,000 on the clock - comfortably seated four but you would only get luggage in for 2. Full tank of petrol on pick up and you deliver it back with full tank. Would heartily recommend this company.

If you have no luck try Empire Car Hire. We used them in September and had no complaints.
