having been to cyprus 11 yrs ago i was so looking forward to going back, sadly i was very disillusioned. boom boom alley [as we called it] gone, prices threw the roof and every 1 seemed to charge wot they felt like at the time. you had to look to get a couple of drinks for under a fiver and ok the uk can be just as pricey, but 8 quid for 2 halves of keo seemed a lot and 7quid for a bacardi breezer arghhhhhhh, excurtions were so expensive just couldnt afford it even a trip to paphos was 25quid EACH.cypriots remain the lovely people i remembered but oh plz dont outprice ur lovely island.

Sadly I have to agree it was ridiculously expensive this year. We also went to Italy this year and people were complaining about the prices there but they were no where near as expensive as a lot of places in Limmasol.
