Hi,

There is the Dolphin Submarine which goes from Flamingo beach in Protaras. We went on this trip in May and it cost 10 euros each. Can%26#39;t comment on the underwater part as I get claustrophobic, so didn%26#39;t fancy that part, but it was a nice ride out on a boat!

as well as the one mentioned above - the dophin submarine from protaras - there is one from ayia napa as well - the yellow submarine. i went a few months ago and would say it wasn%26#39;t worth it. it was €10 and lasted an hour and 20 mins. the one from protaras takes in a wider area and is i think 2 - 2 and a half hours. they have a diver on board who feeds the fish so they come to the boat but the fish in cyprus aren%26#39;t overly exotic to be honest with you.

there are plenty of other boat trips which go from both ayia napa and protaras which are around the €10 mark and last about 5-6 hours and will show you a lot more of the coast.

So far as I am concerned the Dolphin Submarine should be the subject of a Trading Standards investigation. The chances of seeing either a dolphin, turtle or seal are pretty much non existent and yet this is what they are advertising and for the less knowledgeable of this coastline of Cyprus it is very misleading. Unless you are prepared to scuba dive there is very little to see from the bottom of a boat.
