almond holiday village

have just returned from ahv and just read the bad review and wonder what people expect for a holiday, we thought it was bliss and would recomend to any one, im fairly well travelled and think north cyprus is no scruffier than spain turkey greece or the UK. its safe we left things in ajeep and they never got pinched, no yobs or drunks, were going back next year just hope the ahv have a couple of rooms left!!

I%26#39;m glad you have written this-I am going to the AHV next week and that review seemed rather negative!! Were you allowed to take your own bottled water in?! Also was the weather still quite warm?

if we bought a bottle of water out and had not finished it we put it in the fridge, but most of the time we took theres as it was cheap and they put two bottles in your fridge, i hope you enjoy it as much as we did, four of us went ages from 50 to 60 we had a great time, am now on a diet!!!!!!

I am gutter not to be at AHV was booked from 11th to 25th but on Wed 7th whilst carrying my 2 year old slipped and broked my ankle at both sides, just home from a week in hospital 75 miles from home (local hospital too small to deal with fracture) having now acquired plates and screws in my ankle only to find my 2 year old is sporting a plaster on his right leg today!!!!

I cannot thank Gulten enough as she has agreed to carry forward the balance of my holiday as my deposit is non refundable ( very grateful to her) as we have lost £1500 Thomson Airlines due to unadequate holiday insurance - so please be careful when arranging insurance. Anyway i cannot wait to re-book the holiday that i was so so so looking forward to !!! Our cases are still packed.

I have just read the bad review and am absolutely amazed. I am pretty sure there is only one Almond Holiday Village but I can%26#39;t believe this person is talking about the same one we visiting in May.

I think, the answer is, as the owners response says, is that they have chosen the wrong destination for them. There is no need however to take it out on the hotel and the country.

To anyone who has booked AVH please do not take any notice of this review as it is absolute nonsense.

I see there is another bad review of Almond, although the poster does have a point about the dog pound, very annoying.
