Napa in November - Need some help pleeeease!!!

Afternoon All,

Taking my new-wife to cyprus for her 25th Birthday next month (5th - 9th) and I%26#39;m still pondering whether to stay in Ayia Napa at the Asterias Hotel or in Larnaca at the Lordos Beach Hotel. I%26#39;m undecided as Ayia Napa is more expensive to get to, ut hotel is nicer and cheaper. Larnaca is close by, but not as nice.

We just came back from a honeymoon in Kuala Lumpur and Bali so we%26#39;ve spoiled by 5 star hotels, amazing breakfasts and cheap travel around the Island. So, don%26#39;t it to be too much of a difference in quality, it already is just being Cyprus.

So questions I need answering please

1. Ayia Napa or Larnaca (Thinking Napa due to more things to do / more likely restaurants will be open in November)

2. Cheapest way to get from Larnaca airport to Ayia Napa

3. Weather in November?

Thanks in advance for all your help, much appreciated.

The season is Napa ends in October and most places close. We went a couple of years ago for a Cypriot wedding in Nov and there was very little open and very few people around apart from some locals. The sunbeds are all packed up on the beach %26amp; it%26#39;s very quiet.

The day%26#39;s are very short, sun doesn%26#39;t get warm till 11:30 ish and starts to set at 15:30 - 4pm !

I think I%26#39;d consider Larnaca as there%26#39;ll be more to do or even Paphos as it%26#39;s more of a 12 month destination.

I don%26#39;t know about Asterias Hotel but Lordos beach in Larnaca is classified as 5 star hotel, if this would help.

The weather was great during this month ( had tempretures around 32deg Celsius) and I could see many people at the beach. Usually we have the first colds in November, but nothing extreme! If you are interested in getting to know the island a bit better I could suggest while having your base in Larnaca, rent a car and explore some quaint villages in the region- even Paphos is less than 2 hours drive.
