Cheap accomodation

My friends are getting married next year (start of sept) in Cyprus at the Coral Bay Beach hotel near Paphos. As this hotel is very expensive can anyone suggest fairly cheap hotels / villas / apartments (must have a pool) which are in either Coral Bay or Paphos – we will be staying for a week.

Try the Damon Hotel on the Tomb of the Kings Road, has very good reviews and is cheap.

The Helios Bay apartments are ok, on the way to coral bay. We have stayed there twice.

Corallia Beach hotel,book through Thomson.Great location,lovely pool area,sandy beach in front and a stones throw away from the CBB hotel(and a fraction of the price).

Crown Resort Horizon at Coral Bay sometimes comes up quite reasonable with Thomson

Petsas Apartments in Coral bay. They have a pool and are within walking distance of the town and the beach.

As previous poster suggested, Corallia Beach literally next door to Coral Bay Hotel and probably half the price. We looked out onto the Coral Bay Hotel from our balcony and had front row seats for a wedding firework display one night!!!

Incidently we booked over the web for Corallia last year and the price they quoted was nearly £1000 cheaper than any of the brochure and tour operators. We booked through Travel Republic and just to give you an idea we paid £2,300 (in 2008) for THREE WEEKS for a family of four for a one bedroomed apartment at Corallia Beach (side facing sea view) and with scheduled flights Cyprus Airways from Manchester.

Your other option is self catring villas and apartments of which their is an abundance of in close proximity to the Coral Bay Hotel. Try the owners direct website and look in the Coral Bay / Peyia area, there is usually plenty of choice.
