Bars

Hi any ideas for a nice bar to sit in at night. Will be staying close to bar street. Two adults and teenage children don,t like loud music when you cant talk or sports bars. I enjoy a nice cocktail just a place to chill out. Not too expensive Many Thanks

My fav is The Old Fishing Shack.

It is behind Bar Street in Tefkrou Street by Margarita Garden, so much quieter.

dont know the apts ,there is a large supermarket just past debenhams

Great counter for cold meats, (feta) cheeses and olives.

Yes, the Supermarket is Papantoniou%26#39;s, really good! Shopped at one of their other stores for years!

Hi Gini,

For a nice %26#39;quiet%26#39; bar you need to try Memories which is at the end of Bar Street. Come out of the Anemi and turn left - then when you reach Bar Street - 100 meters turn left again and memories is directly in front of you about another 100m to walk.

Note when you are out walking that Nemoes fish %26amp; Indian curry house is superb food served in a relaxing informal place with friendly service and also in Flambe%26#39;s restaurant the house special fillet steak is to die for :)

The nearest supermarket is Papantonios near the harbour area.
