1000 Euro for two weeks excluding breakfast

Hi Freinds,

I have read many reviews complaining about increasing prices in Cyprus.

May you please advice if nearby 1000 Euros for a 2 week stay is enough to cover lunch, dinner, taxi and entertainment for two people?

I returned from Protaras a week ago and budgeted on 120 euros per day but we didn%26#39;t use taxis or trips. We ate out at lunchtime and evening (and sometimes breakfast) and the two of us managed well and brought money home with us.

We actually spent more than that for a two week stay in Limassol in September. I think Limassol is a bit more expensive than some other places in Cyprus. We did stay in a five star hotel so drinks etc were expensive although we often went next door to the Four Star hotel as drinks were half the price. Taxis were expensive i.e between €12 and €20 from Four Seasons Hotel to the old town. If you are staying at the Elias Beach (not sure if you are the same person) that hotel is further away from the old town than the Four Seasons. We did eat in one or two expensive restaurants and I am sure you can do it on less money than we spent. Also if you are going slightly out of season prices may have been reduced slightly. Things did seem very expensive in Limassol this year.

Yes i am the same guy who posted for Elias beach yes i am going in off season and expecting price to be slightly less specially taxi prices.

Any idea what would be good budget to cover 2 times meals, taxi and visit to pubs,bars etc? We took out 1000Euros as it is offseason.

You will be fine, as you say it is off season. The taxi drivers will be glad of some business so make sure you get a price before you get in. There are some very reasonable restaurants so just choose wisely. Maybe you will not need a full lunch if you have a good breakfast you can buy a sandwich or get some fruit or something.
