weather in december please ?

can anyone advise me on the weather in december looking for a cheap a/i from glasgow got a good price but im worried it will be cold ?although probably not as cold as scotland !!

hi I was in cyprus last december and it was warm although it gets cold when the sun goes down .not sure about the snorkel.julie

In December you can expect temp around 18-20 deg Celcious- I suppose not as cold as Scotland! Out of curiosity, what does snokel mean?

I have certainly seen people swimming in December, I did not try it and ate my hot lunch while watching from inside the restaurant!

Weather is variable and some days can be very hot, last December, about the 28th we had ice creams from a van by Aphrodite%26#39;s Rock and it was really hot T shirt weather. On the 30th the route we use over Troodos was impassable to two wheel drive vehicles for a day or so due to snow. Particularly sheltered spots on the coast will be warm enough for sunbathing, nights will be cool and rain is likely. However rain here is usually localized, short but heavy bursts is normal but obviously there can be longer spells but I have not experienced the days of rain that I remember from UK.

It will certainly be much warmer than Scotland except high on Troodos where snow can settle from late December.

I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll have a great time, but I%26#39;m not so sure about the snorkelling!

The sea is warm enough to go in for a swim if you%26#39;re hardy. If you%26#39;re planning to bring a wetsuit you%26#39;d probably be fine.
