Elias Beach Hotel Feedback

Hi Everyone,

Anyone stayed before with Elias beach hotel part of Kanika group?

I am looking for feedback like quality of service, things to do, places to visit nearby Elias beach hotel.

Further how far is this hotel situated from nightlife? I mean bars, pubs etc?

Regards,

Ady

Hi there,

Elias Beach hotel is sa fairly good 4 star hotel. Its been renovated recently. Bars and clubs are due to a car distance (tourist area) of 10 min. Opposite Elias there are some restaurants and bars that are for good value.

You will need a car within Cyprus to see culture and sightseeing if you really want to see Cyprus hospitality as public transportation in Cyprus is not good as other parts of Europe.

Hope that these helps

Enjoy your stay

I agree with everything Nicolas says. The Elias Beach is in a fairly quiet part of Limassol you will need a taxi or to catch the number 30 bus to either the tourist area or the old town. Taxis have become fairly expensive this year but the bus is reasonable. A very good restaurant right opposite the Elias Beach is Terra Mare. Not cheap but you do get four courses for the price of your main course. The wine pushes up the bill a bit though. There are some nice restaurants in the old town. Most of the nightlife is in the tourist area.

Thanks everyone for sharing your feedback, one last question how much does it actually cost from Elias beach to tourist area, also how is the safety and security can we take a taxi at 12am-1am? time?

The number 30 bus is €1,50 but stops at 11 pm. We paid between €12 and €20 from the old town to the Four Seasons. The tourist area is not as far as the old town and the Elias is further away than the Four Seasons. We paid €7 or €8 from the Four Seasons to the Elias Beach so I guess it might cost you €12 or so to go from the Tourist area late at night to the Elias. If I was you I would catch the bus there and get a taxi back. There are some bars and restaurants in the area of the Elias and you may not need to go to the tourist area all the time. There is a trendy bar down on the beach at your end.

Dear Twing,

Thanks very very much, i really like your idea we can take bus and come back via taxi which may cost us max 15 Euros as we are going low season.

Thanks again for sharing the information on a good bar near our beach and hotel.

Any other goos suggestions, some exciting places to visit as we will be there for 2 weeks so we dont want to explore as much as we can.

Regards,

Ady

You should try to get to some of the mountain villages near Troodos if possible. There is a beach path that starts fairly near to your hotel and goes for miles along the sea. If you are feeling energetic it is good fun to walk along there. We walk every morning when we are there from the Four Seasons Hotel right up to the end near the Elias Beach (the path runs out just before your hotel) and back again, all before breakfast! You should certainly take the bus all the way up to the old town as it is nice to wander around there and perhaps visit the castle. The sea front in the old town has been improved greatly in recent years and their is a footpath at that end of Limassol also (there is a bit missing in the middle so it doesn%26#39;t cover the whole stretch of the beach road). St Andrews Street is where you will find most of the shops. Makarios Avenue is where all the designer shops are. There are a couple of good restaurants near the castle in the converted carob mills. In the summer months they have tables outside around the castle walls. I am sure what ever yo decide to do you will have fun.

Forgot to answer your question about safety and security. We have always felt very safe in Limassol and the crime rate is low.
