We have found a lovely apartment to rent in this complex but haven%26#39;t got a clue where the location is, would anyone know were we could locate a map or at least give us some idea of location. It says it is 10 minutes walk to bars and restaurants. We like a relaxing holiday with short walks to restaurants etc but dont want it to be heaving with lots of bars.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gail

Hi Gail,
we have just booked an apartment in Limnaria Gardens for next June . It is near the Alexander The Great Hotel, if you google it you will probably find a map showing Limnaria. Hope that helps .

Hi me again just remembered that I had this map which shows the apartments.

Thanks Alanna that map is great, unfortunately it looks like the apartments are near Bar Street which we don%26#39;t want to be near as when we visited last time that area was just too noisy for us, but if anyone can confirm they are situated away from Bar Street but close to some decent restaurants that would be fine.
Kev, I am a red, on tenderhooks for the next few weeks though great result 8-0 - come on!!!!

We have visited Limnaria Gardens last week, to see some friends, before we flew home. They are away from the main bars, but only a 10 min walk if you do want them. we thought they looked lovely, and as it happen, yesterday I booked a 3 bed apartment there for next October. We have 3 children, so I don%26#39;t want to be in the thick of it so to speak, but they seem ideally situated.
we will also be hiring a car so that we can go and explore!
Hope this helps

Hi Gail
Bar St starts further up from the Limnaria. As I said Limnaria is opposite the Alexander the Great Hotel, further up from there is the Almyra %26amp; Annabelle Hotel thats where Bar St starts %26amp; you will be about 600 - 700 yrds away, it is pretty quite around there.
You have the Pagoda Chinese Rest which is very good %26amp; Koh-I-Nor Indian which is Excellent.
On the other side of the Harbour on Tomb of the Kings Rd there is a Bar called Mike%26#39;s Black Velvet pub %26amp; me %26amp; a couple of mates have formed our own LFC Supporters Pub, send me your email addy %26amp; I%26#39;ll send you a couple of jpg%26#39;s with the banner Carlsberg have bought us, anything you want to know about Paphos just let me know

Thanks Kev and Mumsy
As long as there are decent restaurants in the vicinity I am happy with that, it got me worried when I saw the map and thought Bar Street is so close.
OH has now spotted another apartment in Paradise Gardens so no doubt I will have to ask the same question for that although that does look further away from Bar Street.

Just a pointer for you all.
Last summer (school holidays) when I was there I stayed in the Universal area. When would walk home in the early hours and we could still hear the music from Bar street over the dual carriageway. Somewhere in the Limnaria gardens direction was also a complex that let off fireworks every evening at about 12am to 1am for about 20 to 30 minutes. I recall it was about Paradise Gardens 2/3 before you couldn%26#39;t hear any music.

Hi
We own a property in Limnaria, its an excellent location without being anywhere near the noise of bar street. We can be at the harbour in less than 10 mins walk and there are bars and restaurants within 2 min walk. The pool isnt heated, although in the summer months it feels like it is, there is building work going on at present, 2 more blocks and a heated pool being built, but this should not detract from your holiday enjoyment. Let me know if you need any pics I have loads.
