There is a great choice of hotels in Paphos mainly 4 %26amp; 5 star, it all depends on your budget, also are you looking for B%26amp;B or All Inclusive.

Hi,
The Athena Beach Hotel is a personal favourite of ours, having stayed there 5 times in the last 7 years. It is 4 star, on the beach, great pools (there are three), nice garden area and in a nice peaceful area. We always stay b%26amp;b and the breakfasts are fantastic. The rooms have everything you need including iron and ironing board and a fridge which is good for drinks etc. There is a supermarket across the road so you can stock up on water, beer etc., and there is also a deli where you can buy sandwiches at lunchtime which are cheaper than the hotel. Along the road there are lots of restaurants and bars which are excellent, only a 5 minute walk away. It takes about 30 minutes to walk into the harbour, either along the road or along the beachside, both pleasant walks. The bus also stops outside the hotel which takes you into the harbour or up to the market which is well worth visiting.
It is worth paying the extra for a sea view room otherwise you are facing the road. If you request a high room they are the best and you also get the fantastic sunset views. There are loads of good hotels in Paphos but this is our favourite. Hope this helps a bit.

I agree with the comments about the Athena Beach, it is an excellent hotel, in a good position. Just two things to point out, if you like smaller hotels you may find the Athena a little on the large side, although this doesn%26#39;t detract from the quality of the hotel%26#39;s service. You mention you want to be near a %26#39;nice beach%26#39;. Please be aware that, in the Paphos area, all the beaches, including the one at the Athena, are small shingle type beaches, which are great as long as you are not expecting Caribbean-style beaches. Just a warning not to expect too much. You can find better beaches in Coral Bay but these get crowded and are obviously farther away.

If you are after self catering - central location - quite at night but can walk to bars and sea front very quickly this is your chap -

Hi
Just came back from The Athena Royal yesterday, (Groan!) It%26#39;s adults only and a fantastic Hotel within easy reach of Bars and Restaurants, we stay on B and B but did have a few meals in the Hotel, food is yummy especially the Breakfasts!
It%26#39;s sister Hotel Athena Beach is also good as previous posters have said, although there were lots of big Weddings going on there this past fortnight. Anyway, back to the washing Ugh!
