euro rate and weather

hi all

im coming to ayia napa on wednesay and cant wait!

iv been looking around for euros but the best rate i can find as of today is 1.09. does anybody know what the rate would be if i took £%26#39;s to cyprus and changed them whilst there??

Also anybody who%26#39;s there at the min, whats the weather like as iv looked on a few weather forecast sites and was saying it was gna rain lots over weekend??!! hopefully improves by the time i get there!!

I wouldn%26#39;t worry about the weather. Whenever I was in Napa last week I had one day when it clouded over in the late afternoon. Parts of Cyprus (the mountains) got rain and thunder, but it remained dry throughout in Napa.

i have seen rates of €1.11 over the past week, so hardly any difference at all.

i live 10 miles from ayia napa and i have had rain twice in the last week where as napa has had nothing but scorching sunshine. yesterday was slightly overcast but still very hot.

there is a small chance of rain at this time of year but it seems to leave ayia napa alone mostly and just rain everywhere else. even when it doesn rain it usually just pours for half hour or so and then dries up quickly.

Im in Napa now, and its raining(first time this week) but as ever it wont last for more than an hour. Forecasting solid sun tomorrow and rain on Sunday.

As regards to the euro the most I have seen is 110 euros for your £100

How about the Tornado?

Weather this year and time is very different from last year, heavy rain and thunderstorm in Troodos this afternoon, I jumped somewhat when lightning struck just over hilltop from me, rather loud bang and instant thunder.

Local news reports Tornado in Nicosia which headed East towards Famagusta area this afternoon. Most weather reports show unstable conditions until Tuesday. But I suspect that it will vary for location and time.

Last year the first rain after summer that I saw was mid-October.

Can not give latest as I am restricted to what I can find in English.

ok, maybe i jinxed it.

the first rain in napa of the summer fell today, but it wasn%26#39;t much. we got off lightly compared to Nicosia which had tornados and is pretty messy now and limassol had a severe weather warning today. so I%26#39;m not going to complain about a little bit of rain here!
