Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me. We have never been to Cyprus before and are looking to go next summer in a villa as a family, parents, grandmother, 2 teens 14, 16, daugher 20 with boyfriend and were looking at these two resorts. Any thoughts on what would be better. We want some nightlife but nothing major and we love the beach. any help would be appreciated

If you love the beach then it has to be Protaras. Althought the beach at Coral Bay is nice the eastern side of the island has much better beaches than the Paphos side - Pernera Beach, Louma Beach, Flamingo Beach, Fig Tree Bay, Konnos Bay and lots of little bays in between. Also you will be close enough to Nissi Beach and Macronnosis beach in Ayia Napa. Some lovely villas in the Protaras/Pernera/Kapparis region.
