Cruise ship stop in Limassol

Hi, We are stopping here on a cruise ship, in

November. Does anyone know of any tour companies

that will take you on a tour to Nicosia and how

long would it take to get there? Thanks.

Hi nonnal - Nicosia is about an hour%26#39;s drive from Limassol.

If you don%26#39;t get any recommendations, you could try googling tour companies based in Limassol to enquire directly.

Organised trips to Nicosia usually start about 9am and take in other places of interest, usually in Troodos, and a %26#39;compulsory%26#39; wine factory stop, leaving you only about an hour or so in Nicosia before returning late afternoon. Would this tie in with your ship%26#39;s planned stay?

The problem is that I have looked everywhere for tour

companies from Limassol and have only found one. His

price is so expensive that he doesn%26#39;t even compare to

all our other tours at other ports. We do have about

7 hours in Cyprus, so time wouldn%26#39;t be a problem. It%26#39;s

so frustrating! Thank you for the information.

Limassol to Nicosia wolud be one hour%26#39;s drive. unfortunately I am not aware of any tour companies touring Nicosia. If there isn%26#39;t any particular reason to visit Nicosia and you would like to have a taste of a more authentic Cyprus, I would suggest Paphos area instead.
