Just booked 2wks at laura bay for a family party of 13. Travel Agent told us it is walking distance to main bars and nightlife. reports say otherwise? Does anyone know or stayed there?

Check out reviews on this site. LOCAL bars and nightlife may be within walking distance but it is quite a distance into Paphos itself. You don%26#39;t say when you are going, if you are there during the summer season you may be o.k. as the buses run until quite late but the winter schedule is not so accommodating and you would need a taxi (or taxis in your case)

The Laura Bay is between Paphos and Coral Bay. There are bars and restaurants around the hotel but not that many. If you want the main bars and nightlife I think you will need, as said previously to get the bus or taxis, as Paphos centre is around 5 miles away.
Tomb of the Kings road is on the way to Paphos which has many bars and restaurants but you will still need transport.

All inclusive which are walkable to Paphos centre and nightlife I know of are:
Aliathon Holiay Village - great for kids
Cypria Bay/Maris Resort
Ledra Beach
Phaetheon Beach
