Hi, Myself and my friend booked a holiday to Aiya Napa for the 16th Oct, and turns out her parents will be in Protaras at the same time. We want to go round to visit them. Ive heard a taxi is around 20.00 euro which neithe of use fancy paying! Are buses an option?

you could always catch a bus ! apparentley they run regularly through the day (every 20 or 30 mins) to paralimni and believe its about 1.50 euro each way.were in protaras in july and are going to napa at weekend so was thinking of hopping on bus one day and nipping over to protaras for a few ! :)

(Buses After 20:00 Operate Only From 01/06/2009 Until 10/10/2009)
Sunday
09:00 - 19:00 Every 60 Minutes (From 10/05/2009 Until 31/05/2009)
09:00 - 23:00 Every 60 Minutes (From 07/06/2009 Until 04/10/2009)
09:00 - 17:00 Every 60 Minutes (From 11/10/2009 Until 25/10/2009)
Buses Along This Route Stop At All Bus Stops Including:
Waterworld Waterpark, Macronissos Beach, Nissi Beach, Nissi Avenue, Ayia Napa Center,
Cape Greco, Konnos Bay, Fig Tree Bay, Pernera Beach, Ocean Aquarium, Paralimni Center
Bus Fare: € 1.50 One Way
Don%26#39;t expect them to be bang on time, but they do always turn up as all they do is that constant loop along the coast and there are loads of stops en route both in Napa and Protaras.
The taxis can be cheaper in the day approx 14 - 16 Euro but they do go up at night after midnight.
