Where to go?

Hi,

I have a spare week now between jobs, so would need to book a trip ASAP. Looking at the weather, Cyprus seems to be a good choice. Problem is, where to go? I%26#39;m 30 and will be going alone. Would like to go to a place that%26#39;s beautiful and not too much of a party place like Aya Napa. And not too far away from the airports in Paphos or Larnaca.

Any recommendations?

From what you have written here I consider the best for you is Paphos or somewhere close to Paphos. Paphos it%26#39;s own is beautiful and family friendly, but you can also choose hotels north of the city for example at the coral bay, or between Paphos and coral bay.

Go to Aiya Napa, or if you fancy somewhere a bit quieter, Paralimni which is a nice resort five minutes away by car (take your driving licence). So what if it%26#39;s an hour transfer at either end from and to the airport? You%26#39;ll feel like 2 weeks or more when you%26#39;re out there.

I would recommend Limassol. 45 minutes from the airport and very central for touring the island. Nice restaurants and some good hotels. A bus that runs all the way along the coast road for €1.50. This road is very long and runs from a very quiet area through the tourist area up to the old town all along the sea so there is an area suitable for everyone. There is also a beach path which is very nice for early morning walks before it gets to hot. You would need to research the area you chose to stay in very carefully though to make sure it was what you are looking for.
