taxi from airport

Hi we are going to paphos next wednesday for 11 nights not sure how much a taxi will be from the airport has anybody got any idea?is it better to book the transfers online with a taxi company@

We got a taxi at the airport last April and he charged us 35eu to tombs of the kings road it was early morning so i think they charge a bit more. Going back we used Kings taxis and they charged us 25eu . We have used Kings before and they seem very fair. We are going back in 2wks and i have just booked them to pick us up. 30 to 35 euros was the going rate until the bus service from the airport started a few months ago. You may find it slightly cheaper if the taxi drivers have dropped their fares now that they have this competition. In the past I%26#39;ve found booking in advance and relying on being picked up can be a bit hairy (was once left in an empty airport in the middle of the night still waiting), so, if you decide on a taxi, I would get in a taxi outside; they%26#39;re very plentiful.

thanks for that, i was going to book online with a taxi company called suntransfers but you have to pay up front so once they have your money who knows if they will turn up or not

Hello there, we have used Taximarios before, 55 Euro return, prompt, reliable and a nice fellow, he meets you in arrivals witha name board. They have website with a contact e-mail. He seems to be online regularly and gets back to you fairly quickly.

The shuttle bus takes around 20 mins and costs €3 each

We landed early and wanted to get there to catch family in a bar for a birthday and the bus would have been an hour wit so did a taxi to Kato but caught the bus back as running out of cash!

Very nice and air conditioned bus - catch it outside debenhams - number 12 i think - no one heard of it until spoke to guy in ice cream bar opposite debenhams :)
