Hi, I%26#39;d be grateful if anyone could help - we%26#39;re going to the Elia Latchi Village in a couple of weeks time with my 8 month old baby. I was wondering if there are any supermarkets in Latchi itself and if anyone knows whether they stock nappies and baby food? I can take some supplies out with me but it would be much easier if I could buy stuff there!
Thanks!

Hi - the supermarkets in Latchi are what we would call mini markets- they sell the essentials though. Cannot recall a pharmacy (they also sell baby food etc). However, you are only a short distance from Polis in the other direction where you will find a large supermarket, pharmacy etc. Sure they will give you directions at the village. Others have mentioned price of these goods so you have to weigh up how much to take/buy.

Have returned from Latchi yesterday and the best place to shop is the big supermarket inPolis.Found the smaller ones in Latchi quite expensive, also poor euro rate doesn%26#39;t help.Take it you will have a car just head for Polis,i think you will turn right out of your complex, when you get to the junction turn right and first left%26gt;the supermarket is on the right,by a petrol station.Good places to eat ,Finikas,in Polis and Souli hotel restaurant in Latchi.Avoid Linardos on Latchi, overpriced meagre portions.Had fish meze got 6 small portions.Meat moussaka and they gave us vegetable moussaka, when questioned they had run out of meat and fobbed us off with vegetable.Kleftiko portion tiny, especially compared to Finikas. They do a brill 3 courses for 15 euros and loads of choices.Hope this helps,don%26#39;t hesitate to ask anything else.

Thanks so much both of you for the replies! I think we%26#39;re going to hire a car for part of the time so will try and get to the Polis supermarket.
We can%26#39;t wait! Thanks again for your help.
