Restaurant recommendations?

Hiya

Me %26amp; my boyfriend are off to Ayia Napa to get wed in october. It will just be the 2 of us and so on the evening we want to go out for a nice meal. It doesnt have to be anywhere fancy as long as the atmosphere and food is nice and the prices arent huge!! Lol.

It will be on a Thursday evening. The euro exchange rate has dropped so we will have less spending money then what we would like after paying for extra photos etc so besides the food being nice etc the cost is also a major one.

As your staying at the Napa Plaza there are a couple of really nice restaurants on your doorstep....depending on what you want.

Sage is highly recommended and has a nice atmosphere and lovely food, the decor is lovely too and if you pre-book and tell them it%26#39;s your wedding night they%26#39;ll make a special fuss of you both. As you come out of the Plaza (Peppers Bar frontage) there%26#39;s a one way street almost opposite, Sage is donw there on the right.

Directly across from the Sage is a new Italian Restaurant called Quadro which is excellent too and fabulous decor as it%26#39;s all new this year.

There%26#39;s also Clarabels Flambe restaurant which is directly across the road from The Plaza. Again good food and they%26#39;re famous for their steaks.

If you wanted to get out of the centre then you could head up to the Macronissos area and go to the Garden of Eden, you%26#39;d need a cab but the food is fantastic there too and they have a small cocktail bar within the restaurant ;o) They%26#39;re very popular for wedding receptions in general during the day and evening. Large choice of food on the menu.

Just back from Ayia Napa and once again tried the Stone Garden restaurant which is off Nissi Avenue - ask anyone they will tell you where it is. We have been going to Cyprus - Protaras and ayia Napa for over 20 years and on our first visit went here and have returned time and time again. We are extremely fussy eaters - me being vegetarian and husband not - he likes plain food nothing fancy and I like to experiment. It is fabulous. Not fancy but a nice atmosphere and good food. We had a starter, main course, glass of wine/a beer, coffee and a brandy and the price was under 50 euros, That is pretty good for Cyprus these days. Have a walk before and have a look at the menu and see if it is to your liking.

I find it more and more expensive every time I go to the extent that it is pricing itself out of the market and other European resorts are looking more and more attractive for our needs.

OMG I can%26#39;t believe I forgot my favourite restaurant in Napa.....Blueberries.

Although it%26#39;s in Ayia Napa and walkable from your hotel you%26#39;d probably be better off in a taxi, sort trip but it%26#39;s easy to get lost en route !

Check their website out where the menu is listed, the foods fabulous and we%26#39;ve all shared some big birthdays, weddings and anniversarys with Chris, John and their family team and had a great time.

Another resturant to mention on Nissi Avenue is the Gardens Resturant, pepper steak flambe,to die for.
