Resort Advice

Hi there everyone,

My Partner and I are looking to book a holiday to Cyprus next year and im just looking for a bit of advice on which resort to stay at?

We are both in our 20%26#39;s and we are looking to kick back and relax so somewhere not too busy but with enough bars and restaurants to keep us going. We would also like to see some sites on our visit.

Any advice would be apppreciated.

In very general terms the East of Cyprus is %26quot;younger%26quot; than the West so around Protaras, Ayia Napa?, Larnaca and that area would be worth searching.

I always recommend a hire car if you want to travel around. We drive on the left and the road system is good. The best (to my mind) historical sites lie West of Limassol (Lemesos on many maps and road signs), Troodos for mountains and wine.

In some areas public transport is good and of course from any resort there are tours by coach, Landrover etc.
