help!!

hi all

im going to protaras on sunday and i know the weather is real bad at mo...its putting a right downer on the thought of going...has any one just came back or is there now who could tell me what the weather is like..as all the forecasts are saying storms :(

any help would be lovely

Im in the same boat.... we are going sunday aswel, and i really dont want it to rain :-(

Ive looked on a few different sites and they all say different.... so im goin with the site that says sunshine haha.

September seems to have been a strange month - most unusual for the amount of rain they have had but it seems to have been over on the western side of the island and the mountains. A colleague of mine came back from Paphos last week. When she arrived it was pouring down, then it cleared up completely with wall to wall sunshine for 10 days and rained again as she left. Hopefully it has cleared - hope so as I go next Wednesday to Pernera!

don%26#39;t worry about the weather!

last week it rained on about 3 days for about an hour in the afternoon and there was a bit of cloud and it was overcast at times. since monday all we have had is sun and blue skies and it has got hotter!

other parts of the island have had some very bad weather over the last week, nicosia had a tornado and there was bad hailstones in larnaca but we got off very lightly here and there has been good weather all week.

at this time of year there is always a chance of rain but it doesn%26#39;t usually rain for long and clears up pretty quick. last weekend there was just a big storm that hung around for a few days and at night you could see the lightening in the clouds out at sea but it didn%26#39;t get any closer than that to protaras.

Take your driving licence and have a wonder around the south part of the island if the weather is not great. There are plenty of trips from Protaras. I went on a cruise to the Lebanon and Syria and had a great time.

I just checked the 10 day forecast with weather uk for Cyprus and apart from scattered thunderstorms on 1st October, the rest is sunshine upto 5th (day ten)

We just got back from Paphos area yesterday, and we had hot sunny days for the whole two weeks, and just rain on two evenings, which didn%26#39;t last very long.

dont worry i got back yesterday 26 sep weather is hot hot hot,got great tan its wall to wall sunshine have fun

The weather has been ok actually. Mornings are really good - still hitting about 32 - 34 degrees.

cloud was starting to come over at about 3 o%26#39;clock - if it was coming - and then maybe a little rain at about 5 ish.

please don%26#39;t worry about the weather though, The storms are all mainly around troodos and nicosia, Prot was lovely, The weather didn%26#39;t make me miss out on anything and I have a nice tan!!

If there is anything else you need to know, please just ask
