Where would be best?

Hi.

My husband and I are looking to go to Cyprus on a late booking next weekend. We went to the Atlantica Golden Beach in Pafos for Christmas and whilst a gorgeous hotel we found the area quite quiet.

Can anyone recommend which area of Cyprus would suit us as a late 30%26#39;s early 40%26#39;s couple who aren%26#39;t into major clubbing but like some life in the evening?

The hotels on Poseidonos Ave would probably suit you. Some of the hotels are :

Alexandra the Great

Aloe

Imperial Beach

Athena Royal (fab!)

Athena Beach (fab!)

Ledra Beach (all inc)

Cypria Resort(all inc)

Aquamare (good 40 min walk into Paphos, but 20 mins to the %26#39;Triangle%26#39; where there are bars/restaurants)

Bit further out still :

Pioneer Beach

The Aloe is the shortest walk to Paphos/Harbour - about 15 mins

The first few mentioned are 20/25 mins walk, depending on how fast you walk, of course! There are bars/restaurants on the way.

These are 4star hotels - there are a few 5 star in the area as well:

Almyra (not sure if it%26#39;s 4 or 5)

Anabelle (5 star)

Paphos Amathus (5 star)

Hi,

We always stay at the Athena Beach Hotel on Poseidon Avenue which is at the opposite end of the harbour. It is only about 30/40 mins walk to the harbour but it is a peaceful area but with lots of really nice restaurants and bars. If you need any further info please let me know and I can recommend restaurants and bars to you. I am really jealous I love Paphos.
