Hi,
my partner and I are thinking of going to Paphos in last week of November/first week of December, can anyone tell me what the weather is like then? Will I still be able to sunbath, what kind of clothes will suffice in the evenings? etc
Also we are in our late twenties but can’t really be bothered with the nightclub scene and would like to spend most of our evenings eating out in taverna’s soaking up the Cypriot atmosphere (going on holiday to try something different not to live like I would at home)do they remain popular with some tourists/locals at this time. Sorry if this seems a silly question just not sure what to expect?

The days are short, but hot enough to sunbathe, so get out early as the sun tends to be dropping by 3.30 p.m. Still warm enough to walk out in the evening with just a wrap or something light to cover your arms on the return journey. Most tourist places will have closed by then, but tavernas used by locals will still be open. You may need a car as these tend to be away from the tourist area and the buses will be on their winter schedule which means they will not be running on the way home. If you need any further info send me a p.m.

We have been to Cyprus at this time of year twice, once to the Elysium in Paphos and once to the Four Seasons in Limassol. Both times we sunbathed in the day had nice leisurely lunches in the sunshine. As the previous poster said the sun tends to go mid afternoon and it gets dark early. We found it quite chilly in the evenings and I needed a jacket but we didn%26#39;t find any shortage of restaurants to go to.

Hi thanks for your comments. I have booked up to go at this time and am really looking forward to it. We are going to be staying at my friends apartment in Geroskipou. I am going to post a new forum to see what people think of this area

Our friends had an apartment in Geroskipou until recently, it%26#39;s a nice little village, typically Cypriot. We could walk there from our hotel in Paphos, if you%26#39;re hiring a car it%26#39;s literally just a few minutes drive. It%26#39;s been a bit of a nightmare over the last year or so because of extensive road works and improvements in the area but, according to what I%26#39;ve read of this forum, these roadworks are now complete and the village has benefitted from them.
