Limassol wedding/reception

Hi,

I have been set on a Paphos wedding but having been to a couple of friends weddings there am thinking about changing my mind to Limassol.

Anyone got any ideas for me to start looking at?

Me and My Partner have just booked to have our wedding at Le Meridien in Limassol. I think its a lovely looking place. Away from all the clubbing of Ayia Napa. Beaches are a bit grey there but im not too fussed about that to be honest. There%26#39;s plenty of nice 5* hotels there to have your wedding at. For us it was between Le Meridien and the Four Seasons.

Look at the Londa Hotel, they organise wedding

Go by your budget, Grand Hotel, Four Seasons and Le Meridien are top end but Kanika Elias Beach gives very good value for a 4* hotel and you get a sea view room upgrade if you are having a wedding there.

Hi

We got married in Limasssol 5 years ago at the Cultural Centre at Yermasoyia. We stayed at the Hawaii Grand Hotel now called the Grand Resort and had our reception at Terre a Mare after. It was a perfect day.

I am sure you could find somewhere really nice to get married in Limassol. All of the above suggestions sound great to me. Another couple of ideas are the Mediterranean Beach Hotel or the Amathus Beach. Both hotels had wedding receptions going on while we were there last week. We stay at the Four Seasons every year and while it would be a fantastic venue it has gone from expensive to ridiculously expensive. We also stayed at the four star Mediterranean this year which is a super hotel and charges around half the price for drinks etc but is on the same bit of beach. The Meridian is a very nice hotel and if you are happy to be mainly hotel based I think it would be great but it is at the complete opposite end of Limassol to the old town and a long way from the tourist area and even the Amathus area where the Amathus, Mediterranean and Four Seasons are situated and taxis are very expensive. There is a number 30 bus that runs all the way along the road though which is only €1.50. Terra Mare is a fabulous place (situated at the far end opposite the Grand Resort and close to the Meridian) and we have known Mamas for around 13 years, long before he opened Terra Mare. He is the ultimate professional and would make sure your reception was fantastic. I don%26#39;t think you would be disappointed with Limassol as long as you choose the right place to suit you.
