How to get to Paphos from Larnaca Airport?

What is the best way to go to Paphos (Elysium hotel) from Larnaca airport? I am travelling with a 2 year old kid + a pregnent wife. Please advise.

Hi,

There are pretty detailed directions from Larnaka International to the Elysium on the hotel%26#39;s website. Click on %26#39;location map%26#39; under %26#39;general info%26#39; in the left hand column. (Apologies if you%26#39;ve already done this and were after more detailed directions).

The motorway (dual carriageway) from Larnaka Int. to Paphos is very good and complete. It gets a bit busy around Lemesos (Limassol) but even so the drive should only take you between an hour to an an hour and a half.

I think you can expect to spend just over €100 (one way) for a taxi transfer from Larnaka Int. to Paphos. The rates are set out on the Larnaka airport website http://www.cyprusairports.com.cy. Click on %26#39;facilities%26#39; then %26#39;taxi services%26#39;.

Inter city public transport from Larnaka Int. to Paphos is not ideal. I%26#39;ve not used it, but I was reading about it in the local news a few weeks ago. I think you%26#39;d have to get the Larnaka Int. - Lemesos (Limassol) express bus/coach. Then Lemesos (Limassol) - Paphos. Then presumably a taxi from the Central Station in Paphos to the Elysium! Not ideal with a 2 year old.

It would obviously be a lot cheaper (€14/person) than a taxi and you can make reservations online but...

As previous poster mentioned, there are shuttle buses serving Larnaca Airport and Pafos, with one stop in Limassol, however! I haven%26#39;t used it actually but seeing them at the Coach parking lot at the airport are new, fully airconditioned and look quite comfortable. Personnally, however, having a 2 year old along and a pregnant wife I would prefer the door to door service and this would leave me 2 choices- either take a taxi or rent a car which is a cheaper option.

Take a taxi - you really don%26#39;t need the stress. Look at www.grabthatcab.com. Don%26#39;t get into a taxi outside the airport without agreeing a price first.
