Hi, We will be attending a wedding in June 2010 in Paphos. I am finding it hard to find an apartment with one bedroom that sleeps 4. I have quite bad arthritis and on some days find it difficult to walk long distances. We also have a 7 year old daughter to consider. Can anyone recommend the best place/area to stay in? It has to be near enough to the main areas but far enough away from clubs discos etc. Hard to please I know!! Am I best staying on the outskirts and renting a car? If so are there places to park near the tourist areas where I could use a disabled badge? Any help/advice would be really appreciated. Thanks for your time x

Limnaria Gardens should fit the bill, it%26#39;s right next to the tourist area (by the Alexander the Great hotel), here%26#39;s a suitable apartment:
www.ownersdirect.co.uk/cyprus/CY1559.htm
It%26#39;s a very nice ground floor, pool facing apartment, I stayed there a couple of years ago while waiting to take delivery of my own apartment.

Hi there are quite a lot of choice of apartments i%26#39;d go on www.holiday-rentals.co.uk lots of apartments to choose from, Paradise Gardens area, Limnaria complex, there is a 5* complex off Tomb of Kings (Royal Seacrest) these look really nice, loads to choose from just search through the site, most give you a good idea how far away things are

hello
we have an apartment in peyia which may be a little to far out of paphos [20 mins drive] it is in a very quite location, however I would sugest the Avanti village on posiedon avenue. it is a selfcontained complex about five mins walk from the beach and 2km from paphos harbour. if you have problems getting around I would hire a car; parking around paphos is easy and in a lot of cases free; you can pick one up at the airport and pre-book it via agents over here I use: www.economycarhire.co.uk. The cypriots are very civilised and drive on the same side of the road as we do, road signs are also in english. I see you are due in Paphos in june, beware it can be extremly hot! use plenty of sun block if you are not used to that type of weather.
regards Paul

We have just returned from Paphos and stayed in a 1 bed apartment, sleeping 4, at Queens Gardens on Tomb of Kings Road. good location for us i thought, close to restaurants and bars on Tomb of Kings, and not too far to Harbour, the bus stop is outside the apartment complex that takes you down to the harbour, old town or coral bay. highly recommended. i found it on owners direct but if you want the contact of our particular apt, let me know.
